The Diploma in Engineering was one of the first 5 Diplomas
available for teaching from September 2008. From 2013, any 14
to 19 year old will be entitled to study for a Diploma course
wherever they live. This can only be achieved through
effective collaboration between schools, colleges and work based
training providers.
Diploma in Engineering students develop a mix of business,
technical and interpersonal skills, and acquire the knowledge and
competencies to progress to higher education, an apprenticeship or
employment.
The Diploma contains a sophisticated blend of theoretical and
applied learning, and students can take GCSEs and A levels within,
and in addition to the Diploma itself. The Diploma is flexible
enough to take your students wherever they want to go. It's
also challenging enough to enable them to continue on to
higher education.
